So, our visitors arrived this afternoon so there are a total of 5 kids ages 6 years down to 9 months in my house until Saturday. Oh, how I wish I had just a tiny bit of their energy! I got most of the house cleaned but my bedroom and bathroom are still a disaster! Not that I really care, but I keep having to remind the kids to close the door so nobody sees, lol.
I would also like to say that our visitors are the.best.visitors.ever. She came with a pot of taco soup for supper! Best.thing.EVER. Especially since Biscuit and I had a Family Reading Night at her school. And apparently all that running and screaming was good for the kids because all five were asleep before 9 pm! I have no funny or profound things for the night, but everybody is asleep and I think I'm off to watch tv for a bit!
Lesson of the Day: Next time you will be an overnight guest at someone's house...take food!
